I am a chi mix and my foster mom thinks I have quite a few basenji traits. I love to play, give & receive affection and chew anything I can get my mouth on. I get along well with other dogs. My step-brother, Gunner is a 70-lb boxer mix and he is loads of fun. We chase and wrestle when ever we get the chance. I also get along well with women and children. Men, on the other hand, make me a bit nervous. It took a few days but I've built a great relationship with my foster dad and grandfathers. If given the choice, I would rather not take a bath but in all honesty, I enjoy feeling and smelling clean. I need an attentive and loving owner who makes rules and is consistent with them; a natural pack leader.
